How to Find Us
Abingdon Vale Cricket Club have the use of two cricket pitches located at our Hales Meadow ground, which is a short distance away from Abingdon town centre. Further details on how to find us are set-out within this section of the website.

Car / Vehicle
Our ground is accessed from an entrance on A415 road, approximately 300 meters south from Abingdon Bridge. Our entrance is located at the junction between our ground and the adjacent Abingdon United football ground. There is a car park located just inside of the entrance for those using the Hales Meadow ground or clubhouse. For those players using the Hays Meadow ground, please continue straight from the main entrance down the track and park your vehicle on the grass. Please note that our car park is only open in the summer month at periods in which cricket activities are taking place throughout the ground.
Please note that Abingdon Vale Cricket Club accepts no responsibility for any damage caused to vehicles whilst they are parked or driving within the cricket clubs’ land.
On Foot
Access for pedestrians is possible either from adjacent the Hales Meadow car park or via the main vehicle entrance. The lower section of the ground forms part of the Thames path.
Public Transport
Buses routes to Abingdon are possible from Oxford city centre (X2) as well as several surrounding towns including Wallingford (X33), Witney (No.45), Didcot (X2) and Wantage (X1).
Please note that the whilst the nearest train station by distance to the cricket ground is Radley (3 miles away), this station has a limited selection of local trains. More regular trains pass through Didcot Parkway (6 miles away).
